For this purpose, upon check-in, we are legally obligated to collect the following data from all guests by scanning a valid identification document (ID card, passport, or driver's license for EU citizens):

  • First name and last name
  • First name and last name at birth
  • Place of birth
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Citizenship
  • Mother's first name and last name at birth
  • Identification data from the identity card or travel document
  • For third-country nationals, the visa or residence permit number, and the date and place of entry.

The legal basis for processing this data is compliance with a legal obligation. Please note that if you do not provide this data, we are legally required to refuse accommodation services.

3. Data Processing and Transfer

Your personal data is processed by authorized personnel of Büki és Társa Bt. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

We are legally required to transfer the data collected during guest registration to the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA) operated by the Hungarian Tourism Agency (Magyar Turisztikai Ügynökség).

We may also share your data with third-party service providers who assist us in our business operations, such as payment processors or IT support, under strict data processing agreements.

4. Data Retention Period

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with our legal obligations.

  • Data related to inquiries and bookings that do not result in a stay will be deleted after a reasonable period.

  • Personal data recorded for the VIZA system will be retained by the system as stipulated by law.
